1 Day Offroad Dreaming Kakadu National Park Tour from  Darwin

Adults from $260

Experience the Kakadu in the comfort of a small group with snacks and lunch provided!

Don’t forget your camera!

Upon entering the Park we make our way to Ubirr Rock, where your Guide will lead you and interpret for you, as we walk through the Ancient rock art galleries, home to some of the oldest rock art in the world.

As we move through these galleries we make our way up to the Nadab lookout, which provides us with an amazing view over the top of Ubirr Rock and across the Nadab floodplains, in the direction of Arnhem Land.

Another fantastic Territory Experience awaits us as we head to the East Alligator River to join the Guluyambi Cultural Cruise, for an interactive, informative, yet tranquil Tour.

This is a chance to learn about the area, history and culture, through the eyes of the Traditional Owners.

There is a stop during the Cruise, where you will get the chance to step out into Arnhem Land and see for yourself the beautiful expanse of its unique terrain.

After this full, yet relaxed day, your Offroad Dreaming Guide will drop you back to your Darwin Accommodation.

Darwin Accommodation pickups and drop offs available.

Wet Season Itinerary

Due to rainfall conditions, we may need to revert to our Wet Season itinerary for the Kakadu Day Tour. This will include visiting the Rock Art Galleries at Nourlangie Rock, instead of Ubirr and we will take the Yellow Waters Billabong Cruise instead of the Guluyambi Cruise.

Many thanks for your understanding.

54321 Our tour to Kakadu was professionally run and very good. Adam the driver/guide was knowledgeable and pleasant. The tour covered everything on the itinerary. The picnic lunch was enjoyable. I would recommend it.

54321 A great day. Nice that the group was just 20 people and we were well looked after and entertained by our driver, Norm. A lovely lunch too. Also we loved the boat trip, particularly the young local Aboriginal man, Hilton, that drove the boat and shared fascinating information about the flora and fauna and indigenous practices. Just one thing though; be prepared to pay the National Park entry fee of up to $40 per head as well as the tour price. Otherwise a long but memorable day. ????

54321 Fabulous day in Kakadu with Daniel who was very informative and amusing! Great food for lunch (and plenty of it), so many crocodiles on the Alligator River trip - thoroughly recommended and so nice to be with a small group.
Eleanor Harvey — 27 August, 2018

54321 I would like to know how you could improve on this excursion. Norm was on time very informative and entertaining, he was professional and caring. Food was great, and the tour was beyond expectation. Well done.

54321 A really and enjoyable tour. Picked up very early (5:45am) conveniently at our hotel and returned at 7:30 pm. Great views and insightful information from out knowledgeable guide Adam. Ubirr is a great place and the cultural tour on Alligator river exceptional. Good and tasty lunch. A clear recommendation!

54321 I endorse all the reviews made. Adams range of knowledge was astonishing and was presented in a thoroughly friendly manner. His work ethic was excellent. I think he should be due for a pay rise.
Damien Coleman — 12 August, 2018

54321 it was an amazing tour - both the art rock as well as the river cruise were unforgettable. Adam was a star - great sense of humour, a wealth of information, and a careful driver. We were very well taken care of. Definitely a tour to recommend!

54321 An excellent tour with a small group and very knowledgeable guide-Adam. His archeological background was apparent with his detailed explanations of evolutionary events and this made the sights more meaningful. Thankyou for the experience.

54321 The trip to Kakadu was made so much more enlivening because Adam, our tour guide, was able to create a wonderful background to the area with his fascinating insights and knowledge of both archeology and history. However the thing that really made it even more special was the attention to details. My son and I both noticed that we were using real cutlery and crockery and they were placed on tablecloths- plastic crockery and cutlery is a dreadful reality and the tour spared us this. So many things to see and do and the bird life is captivating. Thank you for a great day.

54321 Kakadu. What an experience. Thank you Adam. You were a star. Five family members were on the tour and it was the stand out experience of our time spent in Darwin. Your knowledge of the area and the way we were looked after was excellent. Will highly recommend you to anyone heading to the top end.
Christene — 7 October, 2017

54321 I have wanted to come back to Kakadu for more than 30 years. I chose this tour because I didn't want to be on a big tour bus with 40 other tourists. This was an awesome experience that lived up to my expectations and was exactly what I was looking for. Nev was super informative without being over the top and was really like a companion on our small group. It was like having a day out with friends. And the lunch was great too! Thankyou!

54321 Fantastic trip..Adam is deep well of knowledge..he is also very attentive to group members needs..we learned so much..well balanced tour which provides an encompassing range of activities..and yes we saw a lot of crocs....thank you again for the great experience
Paola & Jeff Rickard — 22 August, 2017

54321 What an amazing day! Thank you, Adam, for your unceasing attention to everyone's needs. You are such a fountain of information. Your knowledge is invaluable. Then there was the cruise .... what a great inclusion in the busy itinerary. Tyron gave us so much of himself. Never mind the crocs .... this was a spiritual experience. We were warned that Litchfield was "better" than Kakadu. It certainly is prettier, but Kakadu is interesting to the point of being life-changing. Let's not call this a "tour". Thank you for this EXPERIENCE.
Lorna Locke — 25 July, 2017

54321 Thank you ADAM and Reuben for an enjoyable, professional, informative and culturally rich day
