​If you’re short on time and seeking to experience the best of Uluru and the outback, camp under the stars and enjoy sparkling wine while taking in the amazing Uluru sunset, this is the tour for you! You will drive through the beautiful outback to Uluru, viewing Mount Connor on the way.

At Uluru, you will enjoy a guided walk and learn about the amazing history of Uluru, before you have some free time to explore on your own, or if you wish, climb Uluru (unguided, and only when open). Embrace the spectacular Uluru sunset while sipping sparkling wine then enjoy a night in a swag under millions of outback stars.

The second day, you will head to Kata Tjuta (The Olgas) for a walk through the Valley of the Winds. Accommodation will be in 4 share safari tents at all our campsites. We also have twin share tents for those who like a bit of privacy – $40/person/tour. Our campsites will have hot showers and toilets, screened kitchens with electricity to charge cameras or phones. This overnight Uluru camping experience is all inclusive, with no more to pay!

This tour starts in Alice Springs and finishes at Ayers Rock Resort OR Ayers Rock Airport.

​If you are flying into Ayers Rock, we can pick you up from the airport at either 12.15pm or 2.00pm. If you are joining the tour at 2.00pm, you will miss the visit to the Cultural Centre and one lunch.

Day 1

Alice Springs Accommodation


Pick up from Alice Springs accommodation.

Mount Conner

Enjoy the view of Mount Connor on the way.

Uluru Cultural Centre

Our first stop is the Uluru Cultural Centre for an insight into the unique culture of the local Aboriginal people.

Kuniya Walk and Mutitjulu Waterhole

Enjoy a guided walk at Mutijulu Waterhole and the Mala Walk.

Uluru (Ayers Rock)

You then have free time to enjoy an unguided base walk before enjoying a spectacular Uluru sunset.

Day 2


Kata Tjuta (the Olgas)

After breakfast today, we head to Kata Tjuta for a 5.5km walk through the Valley of the Winds, followed by lunch.

We then finish the tour and you can choose to be dropped off at Ayers Rock Airport OR Ayers Rock Resort.

Outback Pioneer Hotel


*Optional transfer to Alice Springs. Between 12:00pm and 6:00pm guests will have access to resort facilities at the Outback Pioneer Hotel.
