Crescent Head

Set the tone for this fair dinkum (i.e. authentic) Aussie adventure by crossing Sydney's iconic Harbour Bridge as we venture toward the surfing haven of Crescent Head. Let the wave chasing begin! Byron Bay

Our road trip continues as we roll past the Big Banana icon before pulling into Byron Bay - where you can burn incense, sip chai and become a yoga teacher all in one day.Included today:Meals: -Breakfast

Anti-McDonald's and anti-anything mass produced (but pro juice bars, beer gardens and beards), Byron is so laid back it's a wonder it hasn't fallen over. On your free day here, hit the shops, test out those newly acquired surfing skills, paddle a sea kayak, skydive, or watch whales breach from the Lighthouse in winter. Fraser Island

Today we'll discover Noosa and the breathtaking Glasshouse Mountains, then board the ferry bound for Fraser Island. UNESCO World Heritage listed and the world's largest sand island, this place is pretty special. Fraser, we're ready for ya!We ask that you have packed a small overnight bag to take to Fraser Island with you as luggage space is limited. Fraser is literally one huge pile of sand - as if someone dropped the Sahara Desert into the Pacific Ocean and scattered it with dingoes and forests. Myella Farm

Embrace your inner cowboy and prepare for some whip cracking and lassoing - today there's a full day on the farm to sink your teeth into. Opt in for the chance to explore on horseback. The Whitsundays

Please note: We ask that you have packed a small overnight bag to take onboard with you as space on the overnight sailing is limited. Pack items like swimmers, beach towel, chargers, hat, sunscreen, camera, jacket, toiletries, sandals/flip flops and casual clothes for two days.Leave the bus and board your own private yacht for our overnight (two days, one night) sailing trip in the beautiful Whitsunday Islands. Normally a toy for the rich and famous, today it's all yours to learn the ropes while sailing in paradise. Cue feasts, swim stops and plenty of snorkelling. Airlie Beach

Today, we'll set sail for sandy beaches, snorkel over coral reefs and soak up the sun. Keep those sunglasses on as the blinding white sands of Whitehaven stretch before you like a 7km sea of diamonds, and swim with the resident reef fish at our snorkelling spot. Back on board, practise your seafaring skills by helping to set the sails or steer at the helm. Today we're off to Magnetic Island, just a short ferry ride over from the mainland. Relax, recharge and take it easy in a hammock of your choice. We're hitting the red ground running as we take to the road and head into Yulara (the gateway resort to Uluru) for lunch. It's off to the breathtaking Uluru in the afternoon for a guided tour, and a glass of bubbles as the glow of sunset morphs through 50 shades of red. Tonight hone your Aussie BBQ skills and cook your own steak (or veggie burger). Welcome to the outback, mate. Uluru

Start your day with a big bowl of 'oh my god' thanks to a breathtaking sunrise back at Uluru. Follow in the footsteps of the traditional owners of this sacred World Heritage site with a full base walk, where you can escape the crowds and check out hidden waterholes. Keep watch for wedge-tailed eagles, spinifex hopping mice and thorny devils. Optional activities today include a scenic flight over the rock or a camel ride. Kings Canyon

After a hearty breakfast, we spend a few hours back in the National Park. This time get ready for some soul searching as we venture into the heart of sacred Kata Tjuta (The Olgas) and walk amongst the 36 red sandstone giants through the Valley of the Winds. After a drive into Watarrka National Park, live the life of a jolly swagman as we sleep under the stars in custom swags. Get your hiking boots on! This morning we start with the hardest part of the famous Rim Walk in Kings Canyon, aptly named 'Heart Attack Hill'. But believe us, it's worth the effort. The Kings Canyon Rim Walk is the real deal and the most famous canyon in Australia. Think age-old cycads, eroded dome shapes, a visit to The Lost City - and that's not even the best part. The sheltered valley and waterhole of the Garden of Eden make today even more awesome. Check out the world's longest Dingo Fence (good thing there's a gate) and truck on past some very remote roadhouses before crossing the border into South Australia. Coober Pedy

After a #saltlakeselfie stop and a meet-and-greet with the sheep farming township of Glendambo (with a population of 30) we're riding south into the Flinders Ranges and the next gem on our list: Umoona mines. Here, we'll check out where 75% of the world's opals come from. You'll want to keep your camera charged for this one. Round off the day with a pub meal - tomorrow's going to be epic. Flinders Ranges National Park is a spoiled brat: it has everything. From mountains to gorges and creeks to rivers, you're lucky you get to play in it today. Wave bye-bye to the outback today with some dramatic scenery changes - we're heading for the city! A visit to the Barossa Reservoir Whispering Wall - there's a time and a place for confessions. You've made it to one of the world's coolest cities (according to Lonely Planet). Spend the day slurping noodles in the Adelaide Central Market, or take a tram to the seaside village of Glenelg. Meals: - Breakfast

Coonawarra

Because no South Australian voyage is complete without wine, we get to concoct our own potion as we stop at Wynn's Coonawarra vineyard. Chin chin! Stroll through the Valley Lake conservation area and learn about the pre-human flora and fauna existence. Snap madly away on the camera as you spot a Skippy - hot tip: don't go to hug one. Before kicking on to Adelaide, check out the Blue Lake (depending on what time of the year you visit, the lake changes colour) and the Umpherston Sinkhole. Grampians National Park

Next up: MacKenzie Falls, the largest waterfall in Victoria. It's no Niagara, but flowing water is guaranteed year-round - a rare promise in a country that's 40% desert. Then, the Northern Grampians for one last panorama shot where #natureporn trends with views to Mt Williams, the highest peak in the park and third-highest mountain in Victoria.
