The walking trail through Walpa Gorge follows the natural creek between two of the tallest domes of Kata Tjuṯa. Late afternoon you’ll travel to the Uluṟu sunset viewing area. Witness the striking colour changes of Uluṟu at sunset while enjoying nibbles and complimentary wine.

You have the option of continuing on to our exclusive venue for an Aussie Barbecue Dinner with Uluṟu as your backdrop.

You will have the opportunity for a free day in Alice Springs. Why not visit the Alice Springs Desert Park, home to plants and wildlife native to the area.

You can really experience the beauty and diversity of this incredible landscape. After arriving in Darwin, travel deep into Kakadu National Park. Join the famous Yellow Water Billabong cruise to observe saltwater crocodiles and prolific birdlife.

Join the Guluyambi Cruise along the East Alligator River in search of more saltwater crocodiles. You’ll have an Aboriginal guide with you and with the special permission of the local people, you’ll be able to go ashore in Arnhem Land.

Itinerary

Day 1

Ayers Rock Airport

On arrival at Ayers Rock Airport you will be transferred to the resort.(Flights to Arrive Before 1:00pm)

Kata Tjuta (the Olgas)

This afternoon travel to the mystical 36 domes of Kata Tjuṯa (the Olgas).

Walpa Gorge Walk

Continue to the base of Walpa Gorge to explore the gorge and the unusual conglomerate rock formations.

Uluru (Ayers Rock)

Late afternoon you’ll travel to the Uluṟu sunset viewing area. Witness the striking colour changes of Uluṟu at sunset while enjoying nibbles and complimentary wine.

Optional - Uluru Barbecue Dinner

Add-on the Uluṟu Barbecue Dinner for $130. After sunset, join us under the stars at our exclusive venue. Enjoy sparkling wine on arrival, then dine on a menu of steak, lamb sausages, chicken skewers and garlic prawns, salads and a tasty dessert. All accompanied by a selection of wines, beers and soft drinks. There’s time for stargazing too (weather permitting).

Day 2

Uluru (Ayers Rock)

Today, we rise early to watch the first rays of the sun set the Red Centre and Uluru alight. We then join our guide for a drive around the base of Uluru.

Kuniya Walk and Mutitjulu Waterhole

We then travel to the Mutitjulu Walk where you will be escorted to the beautiful Mutitjulu Waterhole.

Uluru Cultural Centre

Visit the Uluru - Kata Tjuta Cultural Centre to see locally made arts and crafts.

Alice Springs

We then travel to Alice Springs.

Day 3

Alice Springs

Enjoy a free day in Alice Springs.

The Ghan

This afternoon, you'll be transferred to the railway station to board the Ghan for your overnight journey to the tropical Top End.

Day 4

Darwin

After arriving in Darwin, make your way to the hotel. The remainder of the afternoon is at leisure.

Day 5

Kakadu National Park

Today, travel deep into Kakadu National Park.

Nourlangie Rock Art

Take a guided walk to view Aboriginal rock art at Nourlangie.

Mamakala and Yellow Water Wetlands

After lunch join the famous Yellow Water Billabong cruise to observe saltwater crocodiles and prolific birdlife.

Warradjan Cultural Centre

Visit the Warradjan Aboriginal Cultural Centre and view the informative displays and exhibits.

Day 6

Ubirr Rock Lookout

Today, stop at Ubirr with a short walk to view rock art.

East Alligator River

Join the Guluyambi Cruise along the East Alligator River in search of saltwater crocodiles.

Western Arnhem Land

You'll have an Aboriginal guide with you and with the special permission of the local people, you'll be able to go ashore in Arnhem Land.

Bowali Centre

We then visit the Bowali Visitor Centre.

Optional - Scenic Flight

You then have the option to purchase a scenic flight over the Arnhem Land Escarpment

Darwin

We return to Darwin this afternoon.

Day 7

Darwin

Your holiday concludes this morning in Darwin and you'll be transferred to Darwin Airport for your onward flight.
